Description
AOD-9604 is a synthetic peptide corresponding to the C-terminal region of human growth hormone (residues 177-191) with an added N-terminal tyrosine, often written Tyr-hGH(177-191). It contains a single intramolecular disulfide bridge.
It is studied in in-vitro models of adipocyte lipid metabolism and in comparisons with the full-length hormone, to separate the metabolic activity of the hGH C-terminus from GH-receptor and IGF-1 signalling.
